This family-friendly event brings together members of the armed forces, emergency services, and volunteer organisations for a day of live demonstrations, interactive displays, and hands-on activities. Visitors will have the chance to meet the people behind the uniforms, explore emergency vehicles up close, and learn more about the vital work they do to keep us safe.
Expect a fantastic atmosphere with:
Emergency vehicle displays and demonstrations
Meet-and-greets with our uniformed services teams
Static displays and recruitment stands
Live entertainment and family activities with FREE face painting
Uniformed Services Day is a wonderful opportunity to show appreciation for the dedication and bravery of those who serve — and to celebrate the strong community spirit that makes Durham such a special place.
Come along, bring the family, and enjoy a great day out in the heart of the city!
