The Tea Dance will be followed by a Coronation Afternoon Tea;
created and served by the highly acclaimed students of New College Durham.

Friday 5th May
SPARK music event

Come and enjoy live LED drummers with all the family as part of a music event in Millennium Place to kickstart the weekend of City celebrations.
There will be two performances – 6:30pm-7pm and 8pm-8:30pm.

Spark!  is a medium-scale street theatre show performed that combines high-impact drumming, dynamic choreography and beautiful lighting.

The performance combines static set-pieces, movement and audience interaction.
The performers constantly shift the focal point of the show and sometimes surround the audience completely so they feel immersed in the drama which unfolds.
The show gradually builds in intensity culminating in a huge climax of light, sound, smoke and movement. It is not to be missed!
