Durham Independents is back. It will run from November 17th to December 22nd – and there’s £2,500 worth of vouchers up for grabs.

The campaign aims to celebrate and support the city’s independent shops and venues – with Collected Book Shop; Durham Distillery; Maple Patisserie, Elvet and Bailey, Durham Indoor Market and many more businesses participating.

Here’s how you can take part and win:

The campaign will start on 17th November and run through to 22nd December, during which time Durham BID will be giving away £2500 worth of vouchers.

Shoppers visiting the participating businesses can pick up a loyalty card. When they purchase an item, they will get a stamp on the card. Shoppers must collect 3 stamps (from three different businesses) to enter the competition.

Once shoppers have their three stamps, they can hand their loyalty cards into: Durham BID’s Post Box, Discovering Durham, Moon or Upcycle Me (inside Durham’s Indoor Market)

Five lucky winners will be chosen from the cards that have been handed in each week – and they will all receive £100 worth of gift vouchers. The prize draws will held be on 24th Nov, 1st Dec, 8th Dec, 15th Dec and 22nd Dec and the winners will be contacted direct. Vouchers need to be redeemed by 4th Feb 2024.
