Sweet Treats R Us has arrived at The Riverwalk, bringing a dessert-lover’s dream to the heart of Durham.
Founded by Chris and Fraser – who own Bear Bottom in Durham’s Marketplace – the café has taken over the former Maple Patisserie unit and transformed it into a warm, welcoming spot for all things sweet.
On the menu, you’ll find a tempting mix of homemade fruit and cheese scones, toasted teacakes, and an ever-changing line-up of speciality cakes – from cherry Bakewell and Oreo brownies to white chocolate Bailey’s cake and caramel snickerdoodles. Pair your treat with a hot coffee, refreshing cold drink, or a simple cuppa, and you’ve got the perfect pick-me-up.
