Free fun for all ages on Durham’s incredible UNESCO World Heritage Site this Easter Monday. Live music – food – crafts – performances.

World Heritage Day returns to Durham’s UNESCO World Heritage Site this Easter Monday. With the whole site being taken over with fun activities for all.

We had 5,000 visitors last year in what was a brilliant day of festivity, music, joy … and some sneaky stealth learning!

This year we will also be celebrating Durham Castle’s 950th birthday.

We will have:

  • Live music on Palace Green including:
    • Hayley McKay
    • Sam Shields
    • Rabbit Foot Club
    • DILUTEY JUICE
    • Osaka Jo
  • Medieval re-enactments
  • Arts and crafts workshops
  • Street food and coffee
  • The Bewonderment Machine
  • Storytelling with Chris Bostock
  • Ruff-making
  • Quidditch
  • Two Tin Cans
  • Wildflower
  • Street food by FlipnFast

And quite a few surprises…

We hope to see you there!
