Dvořák New World Symphony by Durham University Palatinate Orchestra

Join Durham University Palatinate Orchestra in their 15-year anniversary concert as they perform Dvořák’s New World Symphony. Dvořák’s Symphony No. 9 is a much-loved staple of symphonic repertoire, bursting with drama and weaving Czech and American spiritual influences through the symphonic canvas. Also featured on the programme are Grieg’s Piano Concerto in A Minor, performed by soloist Ernest Newland, and Clyne’s Masquerade, a concert overture commissioned for the BBC Proms in 2013.
