Meet the Monk at Durham Cathedral Museum
Tuesdays from 26 July to 30 August, 10am-3.30pm
On Tuesdays in the summer holidays meet the monk roaming the museum to learn more about how the medieval monks of Durham Cathedral once lived, cooked, slept and studied in the spaces that today house the museum. While you’re visiting the museum see the new exhibition, Meet Saint Bede, which illuminates Bede’s life and legacy through remarkable objects like a cast of Bede’s skull.
Museum admission: adult £7.50, under 16s free
