Dun Cow Inn

The Dun Cow reportedly the oldest pub in Durham City, Call in for a quiet drink in a friendly atmosphere with canny staff and choose from a good selection of rotating cask ales, beers, wine and spirits, which type of spirt is up for debate as the Dun Cow is also notoriously haunted by the Ghost of Mary Ann Cotton, the 17th-Century Serial Killer known for killing 14 people,  including 11 of her 13 children and three of her four husbands.
