The Champagne Bar by Ebony is Durham’s premier Champagne and Cocktail Bar. Situated within yards of the Gala Theatre, on the Walkergate complex, The Champagne Bar offers a laid back yet sophisticated place to enjoy food and drinks. The venue is known for its two different areas: the conservatory, with floor- to- ceiling windows where you can enjoy sipping on a glass of Moet & Chandon while people watching; and a classy inside bar area with chandlers and boojie seating areas, making it a popular spot for special occasions, get togethers or a wind down after work.
The Champagne menu features an exciting range of Vintage and Non- vintage Champagnes, including Dom Perignon – with its notes of vanilla, toast and coffee – to more floral fizz, such as classic Moet & Chandon Rose Imperial. There are also more than 40 cocktails – from a classic Cosmopolitan to Ebony’s signature cocktails such as the Bubblicious. Plus, there’s a wide variety of other drinks too including wines and beers.
Great Champagne deserves great food and Ebony’s (as it’s known locally) certainly delivers this with a modern take on British cooking. On the menu you’ll find dishes such as paninis and sandwiches to sharing platters an Meze boards. Champagne Afternoon Tea vouchers are also available – the perfect gift for loved ones.
