We’re lucky that Durham is serviced by a brilliant network of bus services. To plan your next trip to the City using public transport, checkout the Traveline website for more details. If you’re coming into Durham Bus Station, you’ll enter the City from North Road. Turn right out of the Bus Station and head towards The Riverwalk on Framwellgate Bridge. You’re literally in the City Centre within a couple of minutes’ walk.
Durham Train Station is operated by LNER and you can find out more about the services that stop in the City here. Located at the top end of North Road high on a bank overlooking the City vista, you can walk to the City Centre within a matter of minutes. Simply head to the flyover and when on the other side of the road, turn right to head down North Road and past the bus station, towards The Riverwalk on Framwellgate Bridge.
